The spirit of Scotland is set to take over the Santa Clara neighborhood this spring. The Eugene Scottish Festival invites the community to a day of immersive cultural celebration on Saturday, May 30, 2026, held at the Irving Grange.

The festival offers a vibrant journey into Scottish heritage, featuring the stirring sounds of bagpipes and an energetic lineup on the outdoor stage. This year’s musical roster includes the high-energy Celtic melodies ofThe Katie Jane Band, the beautiful songs of Possibly Irish, and the traditional folk sounds of The Glen Siders. Between musical acts, attendees can witness the grace and precision of Highland and Country dancers.

Whether you are here for the history, the music, or the food, there is something for everyone, we encourage everyone to jump into the spirit of the day. While we love seeing a tartan, kilts are certainly not required—all are welcome!”

Highlights of the 2026 Festival Include:

  • Royal & Traditional Spectacles: Her Highness Queen Mary of Scots will preside over the day’s festivities. Guests can also witness the raw power of Highland Games demonstrations, such as the caber toss, and marvel at the intelligence of working sheepdogs during live herding demos.
  • Family & Furry Friends: The event is designed for all generations, featuring horse-drawn wagon rides and a dedicated children’s area. Dog lovers are encouraged to bring their companions for the Community Dog Parade—Scottish attire for pets is highly encouraged!
  • Authentic Cuisine: Foodies can savor traditional staples including hearty haggis, savory bangers, and crispy scotch eggs, alongside a variety of popular festival classics and sweet treats.

Heritage & Shopping: Visitors can explore their own lineage at the Clan Tents or browse a curated Artisan Market featuring handcrafted jewelry, traditional textiles, and unique gifts.
